2017 n'aura pas lieu is a documentary made in Paris between autumn 2016 and spring 2017. Activists in the alter-globalization movement experienced a year of unprecedented protest. With the state of emergency in force since the attacks of November 13, 2015, these circles have had to deal with a powerful and unprecedented coercive arsenal. To respond to this strong repression, this generation wished to get involved through a new tactic, that of the "Black Bloc".

Reacting to the war of images between police forces, demonstrators and the media, this project isolates the protagonists of the demonstrations. The fragments thus created enable viewers to recompose an image of their own.
